In the heart of the Himalayas, where nature is both fierce and nurturing, communities have learned to live for centuries in harmony with the land, harnessing the natural healing power of its botanicals. From landscape to skin, this is care shaped by ancient wisdom, passed down through generations.
Nutrient-dense berries and fruits from these plants were highly valued for their rich antioxidant content and medicinal properties. Collectively, they were revered as the “Himalayan Soma” a sacred, rejuvenating elixir believed to nourish both body and spirit.
At high altitudes, the atmosphere is thinner, exposing plants to intense UV radiation, low oxygen levels, and extreme cold.
To survive these harsh conditions, the plants produce powerful adaptogenic compounds that protect them from environmental stress. These same compounds are harnessed in our products to help strengthen the skin barrier and promote healthy skin renewal.
Almost all ITI products contain extracts from Himalayan berries, roots and super-fruits with Leh Berry (Sea buckthorn), Rosehip and Wild Peach as star ingredients including Pink Lotus from lakes of the area along with Rosa Damascena that is grown in the foothills of the Himalayan region.
